Every Sunday the Songster Brigade brings blessings to our services.  Like the band they are all volunteers and seek no recompense save the knowledge that they are used by God to bring the message of his love to a receptive congregation.

The brigade is in demand both locally and in a wider area as the pictures will tell.

In October 2006 the Songsters' made a tour of Southern California, USA.  Based in San Diego they visited several locations both Corps and Social Centres.  To see details of the tour click HERE.  To see a slide show of many pictures click HERE.  Allow some minutes for the show to download dependent on your connection speed.  If you need to install a Flash player click HERE.

The visit to the Corps at Clowne

Three people knelt at the mercy seat in response to the invitation to 'exchange your junk for God's joy' during a weekend visit to Clowne Corps. A capacity congregation welcomed the songsters at the Saturday evening festival, which featured brass and vocal solos and a timbrel display. The Sunday morning meeting included testimonies by the songsters, and an afternoon praise and worship meeting brought a fitting conclusion to their week-ends ministry.  The pictures show the brigade in action both inside the Army hall and conducting outside worship.
