The Salvation Army at Bedlington
Recognised for its service to the community in the Borough of Castle Morpeth during time of need.
Following the disastrous flooding in the centre of Morpeth during the weekend of 6th/7th September the Salvation Army's emergency planning was called into action. The soldiers and friends of the Corps at Bedlington responded magnificently and as a result were recognised for their valiant work by the Mayor and Council of Castle Morpeth at a presentation in the Town Hall on Monday 3rd November. The certificate below was presented to the Corps at this reception.
